     I am an artist based on photo realistic principles.  I believe in taking a moment and making an art piece out of it, whether it's to preserve a memory or convey an emotion.  I love the feeling of starting with a blank canvas and creating something with a meaning; I hope to create art that can speak to people all on its own.  

    I tend to stick with monochromatic media, such as charcoal, because I like the idea of creating a work that looks realistic, yet simple at the same time.  I enjoy making art, not only because it relaxes me, but because the act of actually creating something that many can enjoy is a wonderful feeling.
